The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrics, and Neonatal Nursing. The professional organization that provides guidelines for perinatal nursing in the U.S. American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. The professional organization that provides guidelines for the practice of obstetrics in the U.S. American Academy of Pediatrics. The professional organization that provides guidelines for the practice of pediatrics in the U.S., including the care of newborns. Neonatal Resuscitation Program Information and resources for the AHA/AAP Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). American Association of Family Practicioners. This organization created the A.L.S.O. program. A.L.S.O. This AAFP program helps physicians and other health care providers develop and maintain the knowledge and skills they need to effectively manage potential emergencies during the perinatal period.
