Region III+ Perinatal Education Consortium |

Improving perinatal care through education and networking opportunities. |

The Region III+ Perinatal Education Consortium is a membership organization available to hospitals located in counties in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. The purpose is to develop and provide educational resources and activities that enhance the quality of perinatal nursing practice and meet the standards of organizations guiding and affecting the practice of perinatal nursing, such as, AWHONN, OBN, JCAHO, ODH, ACOG, AAP, and others.
The Consortium is governed by an elected executive committee whose members seek and act on advice from representatives of the member hospitals. There are at least two annual meetings of the entire membership. Member hospitals pay an annual fee to participate. Membership allows hospital staff to participate in creating educational opportunities and to attend programs at the Consortium rate. |

Executive Consortium Committee Meetings for 2012 Meetings are open and all are invited to attend. Contact the Central Office for the location and time. Meetings are generally scheduled for the 3rd or 4th Friday of every other month, however, changes get made to accommodate schedules. |
